CITCR rescues social cats and kittens who are trapped or found amongst feral colonies during the performance of TNR; from NYC?s Animal Care and Control where they are at high risk for euthanasia or cats that have been found by the public when there has been no success in finding the rightful owner.

Adoption

CITCR strives to find loving homes for the cats in our care through weekend adoption events and Petfinder ads. Our adoptable cats can be seen most weekends at Petco 91 11 Metropolitan Ave., Forest Hills NY and 254-51 Horace Harding Expy., Little Neck, NY. Rehabilitation

CITCR performs rehabilitation related activities to help reduce the feral cat population. CITCR volunteers, with the help of the cat caretaker will rescue cats that have been abandoned. We will then hold them pre and post surgery, transport them for surgery and place the for adoption in a safe loving permanent home.
